It’s time to start thinking about the events planned for the new year, starting with The Reunion Golf Classic in Reno/Lake Tahoe. If you were there for the first one you know it was a great program, in a magnificent setting, and we’re doing all we can to make this one even better. Again, our two “Presenting Sponsors” are the Reno/Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority, and North Lake Tahoe. The Resort at Squaw Creek is our headquarters, and they’re offering us a great rate - $79 per night. Sunday June 6 is our arrival date, and that same great rate will be available for our guests who want to come in early for a practice round.
Monday and Tuesday we’ll play tournament golf on two of the most challenging and beautiful courses you’ll ever see. We have social activities for guests of the golfers.And for those who simply want to join us for The Reunion (we had a number of them last time), there’s a “Social Registration” for non-golfers with it’s own agenda.
The tournament field will be fully handicapped, and two-man teams will compete (750.00 per team). You select your own team, composed of a “Supplier” and a “Client” A substantial cash prize pool is offered, and a Calcutta Auction will feature the Sunday evening Welcome Reception, to offer all guests a “piece of the action” if they wish. The event will close with the Awards Reception on Tuesday evening at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. All checks must be payable to The Golfe. Hope you can be with us.
You must be registered to participate in any of The Reunion activities. Golfers must register as two-person teams ($750 for the team). Social Registrants ($150 - no golf) may register individually. A Team consists of a “Supplier” and a “Client” except that two Clients may register as a Team; two “Suppliers” may not.
The Reunion 2010 will be held June 6 - 9 in the Reno-Tahoe area, with lodging at the Resort at Squaw Creek and tournament play at the spectacular mountain courses, The Golf Club at Gray's Crossing and Old Greenwood.

For early arrivals at the Resort at Squaw Creek, practice rounds will be offered at $45 per person which is 50% off the rack rate.
Tournament Format
We have arranged complimentary transportation from Reno Inter-national Airport to the Resort upon your arrival. Details will be forwarded when we confirm receipt of your registration form.
Calutta
One of the more exciting features of this event is the “Auctioning of Teams”. Each two person team will hit the auction block ($50 minimum bid) and may be purchased by anyone or any syndicated group representative in the room. There is no limit as to the number of teams purchased, but every team purchased by a syndicate or other entity must be offered a buy-back of up to 50% by the purchaser, prior to the opening round. Expect team prices to range from $50 to $1000 (some of you will really be confident), with a total Calcutta pool of around $10,000. The Calcutta pool will be spilt between the owners of the top 5 finishing teams each day and overall.
