IMPORTANT: After
you have established a custom handicap, you must adjust
your scorecards using the “Equitable Stroke Control” before
completing this form. All Forms received after the
25th of the month WILL NOT be computed until the following
month.
The
procedure is simpler and independent of par and still accomplishes
the purpose of ESC, which is to eliminate unrealistically high
hole scores. It sets a maximum score that a player can post
on any hole depending on the player’s Course Handicap.
The

SCORECARDS
OR COPIES SHOULD BE KEEP FOR AT LEAST SIX (6) MONTHS IN THE
EVENT THAT BACKUP IS NEEDED TO ATTEST YOUR CUSTOM HANDICAP.
An
I.D. number will be assigned after your first scores are recorded.
A MINIMUM of five (5) scores is needed to
compute your first custom handicap. Please
